Anxiety & Overthinking
The loop that won't quiet. The body that braces before the day even starts.
The Butterfly Effect

Counselling Psychologist — Naina Agarwal
For the stuff that keeps repeating. The patterns you understand but can't seem to move. The things you carry without quite knowing how to put them down.
people don't unfold in identical ways.
Who this is for
You don't need the perfect words first.
you overthink, and you know you overthink, and somehow that doesn't help
you're okay on the surface and exhausted underneath
you understand your patterns. you just can't seem to stop repeating them.
you feel things more intensely than most people around you seem to
your relationships follow the same shape, over and over
you're not sure who you are outside of what you do for others
you've been meaning to talk to someone for a while now
you don't need to have it figured out before you reach out.
it's okay if your thoughts arrive messy.
About Naina
I didn't come to psychology to help people. I came because I couldn't stop trying to understand them — not in a clinical way. In a can't-stop-thinking-about-it way.
I have an MSc in Counselling Psychology. I've also spent years on the other side of therapy, as a client — so I know how vulnerable it can feel to sit across from someone and try to explain what's happening inside you. I know how intimidating starting can be.
Outside of sessions, I'm probably at the gym, experiencing post-coffee jitters, laughing during emotional conversations, or waving at random dogs on the street. I'm more person than profile.

How I work
I work with what you bring. Session to session.
I tend to ask about the pattern before I name it. I'm more interested in your why than in fixing your what.
My work is primarily informed by CBT, DBT, and somatic approaches — while continuing to learn from other modalities too.
You are the expert on your own experience. I'm here to help you hear yourself more clearly. Not become someone else.
What we cover
I work with the experiences people often carry without quite having language for yet.
The loop that won't quiet. The body that braces before the day even starts.
The coping mechanism has a name. The belief has an origin. We look for both.
The quiet disbelief that you're allowed to take up space. We sit with that.
The same shape, different people. Patterns repeat until something changes.
When capacity has quietly thinned to almost nothing. Somewhere to put the weight down.
Who you are outside of what you do, who you love, and what you're supposed to be.
Flood, freeze, and the moments in between. Learning to read your own signals.
Endings that weren't clean. Beginnings that feel too big. The in-between.
What to expect
Both matter.
real change is often slow, invisible, and quietly life-altering.

Quiet questions
Mostly we just meet. I'll ask what brings you here, and we'll go at whatever pace feels manageable. You don't have to explain everything at once — or at all, if something isn't ready yet.
